"Stickerless" Sticker Programs
Secure-A-Lot offers this system as a service for a monthly fee. The system can pay for itself immediately by reducing "Unpaid Tonnage", eliminating other inspection costs and eliminating physical sticker costs and costs associated with selling and mailing stickers. As an added bonus, you can enable Citation revenue from citing unpermitted users. Each Citation you issue will eliminate that person's waste stream from your Unpaid Tonnage costs. They will either get a permit or go somewhere else. In either case the savings is PERMANENT!
Passive Enforcement
Active enforcement involves control gates, road sensors, and real-time decision making. This approach drives up costs and slows down traffic flow, but does deny access to unauthorized vehicles.
SECURE-A-LOT ALPR supports both Active and Passive enforcement. Passive enforcement is appropriate for non-critical access control sites like those used at daily / monthly / annual fee facilities with Citation authority. Access monitoring can be used for audit data collection.
